The training will be provided for total of three months. Students attend the lecture training on every Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 12am and practical training on every Thursday and Friday. With a new theoretical curriculum, Daw San San Ohn, trainer of the tailoring business, focuses teaching on basic sewing, tailoring and designing.
Current student, Ma May Htway Aung, commented, “This is my first time attending this training and it has been a month already. Because of this training, now I can cut and sew cloth, and make bed sheets and pillows by myself. I will attend this training until I can make different clothing by myself.”
