On 25th January 2017, an art workshop at BEAM was taught by Art Relief International (ARI). The activity took about one and half hours and the workshop focused on exploring student’s artistic interests, creativity and teamwork. ARI will conduct art workshops centered on teaching a basic knowledge of art, principles of color, music and dance every other week at BEAM until the end of March 2017. About 25 of BEAM’s students joined the workshop and gained knowledge about arts through the activity of creating dream catchers.
ARI is currently working with over twenty organizations and various focus groups in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Their work in northern Thailand includes “Green” art and sustainable crafts with different-ability children. Please visit their website: www(dot)artrelief(dot)net.
