GED Online Program

Program Description

The Online GED Program (self-study) is a one-year program, aiming to prepare the students to pass the high school equivalency examinations (GED) and to apply for college and university. The program intends to bring youths from inside Myanmar and ethnic areas, migrant and marginalized communities who have not completed their basic education and are unable to pursue higher education. This program is designed for GED preparation and a wide range of academic skills development for higher education.

Program Nature

There are mainly four GED courses in the Online GED Program: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Social Studies, and Science. As this program is an online self-study program, students will study these courses on BEAM (LMS) Remote Learning Platform. GED lesson videos, lesson notes and powerpoints, homework assignments, and quizzes will be exclusively available on BEAM (LMS) platform for BEAM students. Students can choose to access and study the course at their own convenience (time and space). Students will have to complete all the lessons during the given time frame and follow the timeline of the program for the exams and assessments.
