Grassroots Human Rights Education & Development – Foundation for Education and Development (Ghrefed) was founded in 2000 to address the long-term needs of Burmese migrant workers and Burmese communities in Thailand. Working closely with communities on the group, the Foundation provides education to marginalized Burmese children and migrant workers, promotes job opportunities and advocates to bridge divides between Burmese and Thai communities to ensure integration and legal security.
