The Brackett Refugee Education Fund focuses on supporting Internally Displaced People (IDPs), especially children of primary school age. Major efforts are dedicated to supporting the Burmese Karen and hill tribe communities. Additionally, over 200 students in Burmese, Bangladeshi, Indian, and Thai universities and colleges receive scholarship. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to dedicate themselves to supporting their home communities and engaging in inter-cultural exchange.
