About YCEP

Y.C.E.P, the Youth Community Engagement Program, is a cultural learning and youth empowerment program which facilitates the integration and re-integration of migrant people in two communities.

“We hope to create an inclusive and safe ecosystem for youth of all backgrounds”

Mission Statement

The aim of YCEP is to promote a better society and cross-cultural understandings between two communities along with the aim of security, development, and cultural understanding for peaceful coexistence.

Program Overview

Our programs generally fall under two categories: Cultural Exchange and Youth-Centered, however, they are not stand-alone but rather integrate together to create our ecosystem in which all youth in our network are invited to apply.

Youth-Centered Programs

These programs center around youth empowerment and engagement to equip youth with the tools, resources, and skills to uplift their communities and peers.

Cultural Exchange Programs

Cultural Exchange Programs aim to improve cross-cultural understanding and communication between various communities to promote diversity and align with our mission for peaceful coexistence.

Community Service Internship Program

A unique mutually beneficial scholarship-internship program for university students requiring financial assistance. Several outstanding students are accepted each year to receive funding for their education, in return, students volunteer at local community organizations and assist with BEAM-led programs.
