The Higher Education (GED) Program of BEAM Education Foundation is now open for new student applications for the 2019-2020 academic year. We encourage any individuals from marginalized communities, particularly migrants and refugees from Myanmar, with strong aspirations and commitment to studying for higher education at college or university to apply for the Program. Applicants should have Intermediate level English language skill at a minimum. Medium of instruction in the GED program is English only. The eligibility criteria and more detailed information is outlined below:

Application: The completed application form must be brought or mailed to BEAM Education Foundation (Address below) or emailed to [email protected] by 24 March 2019.

Entrance test: Invited applicants must sit for the entrance test, which includes English, Math, Social Studies, and Science subject tests. The entrance test will take place on 9 AM on 25 March 2019 at CDC school in Mae Sot (for students from Mae Sot area) and 9 AM OR 6 PM on 29 March 2019 at BEAM Education Foundation in Chiang Mai (for applicants from Chiang Mai area). NOTE: Students can bring their application form on the exam dayas long as they confirm with CDC school or BEAM before 24 March 2019.

Results: The results will be posted in late April. Applicants may contact the CDC school or BEAM for their acceptance notification.

Class arrangement: Classes will begin in early May 2019 and end in late March 2020. Classes are provided both in the morning (9 AM – 12 PM) and in the evening (6 PM – 9 PM). Extra support classes in the afternoon will also be provided. Students are free to choose the session that best fits their schedule.

ဝင္ခြင့္စာေမးပြဲ ။     ။ ဝင္ခြင့္စာေမးပြဲမ်ားကို ၂၀၁၉ ခုႏွစ္၊ မတ္လ ၂၅ ရက္ေန႔ နံနက္ ၉ နာရီတြင္ စီဒီစီေက်ာင္း၊ မဲေဆာက္ (မဲေဆာက္ေဒသမွေလွ်ာက္ထားသူမ်ားအတြက္) ၌လည္းေကာင္း၊ ၂၀၁၉ ခုႏွစ္၊ မတ္လ ၂၉ ရက္ေန႔ နံနက္ ၉ နာရီတြင္ ဘီမ္းပညာေရးေဖာင္ေဒးရွင္း၊ ခ်င္းမိုင္ (ခ်င္းမိုင္ေဒသမွေလွ်ာက္ထားသူမ်ားအတြက္) ၌ လည္းေကာင္း က်င္းပသြားမည္ျဖစ္သည္။ မတ္လ ၂၅ ရက္ေန႔ မတိုင္မီ ႀကိဳတင္အေၾကာင္းၾကား၍ ေလွ်ာက္လႊာ မ်ားကို စာေမးပြဲ လာေရာက္ေျဖဆိုသည့္ေန႔တြင္လည္း တပါတည္းယူေဆာင္လာႏိုင္သည္။ (မွတ္ခ်က္- ခ်င္းမိုင္ေဒသမွေလွ်ာက္ထားသူမ်ားအတြက္- ဝင္ခြင့္စာေမးပြဲကို နံနက္ ၉ နာရီတစ္ႀကိမ္ႏွင့္ ညေန ၆ နာရီတြင္တစ္ႀကိမ္ ႏွစ္ႀကိမ္ခြဲ၍က်င္းပမည္ျဖစ္သည္။ ေလွ်ာက္ထားသူမ်ားသည္ အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာစကား အဆင့္ Intermediate level အနိမ့္ဆံုးရွိသူျဖစ္ရမည္။ ဂ်ီအီးဒီပ႐ိုဂရမ္တြင္ အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာစကား တစ္မ်ဳိးတည္းကိုသာ အသံုးျပဳ သင္ၾကားပို႔ခ်သည္။
