On January 31, 2018, BEAM Education Foundation participated in the 3rdChiang Mai Educational Reform Conference ‘Alternative Education is the Future Study’ at the Conference and Exhibition Center in Chiang Mai. Mr. ChatchawalThongdee, Secretary General of the Thai Council for Alternative Education, and Associate ProfessorDrNongyanNawarat, Head of the Center for Multicultural and Educational Policy, led the conference. There werealso forumson topics such as ‘Alternative Education for the Future’ from the educational network representatives in the conference. BEAM Students had a chance to meet with students from other education institutions in the Chiang Mai area and share their opinions on alternative education and what BEAM is doing.
