In May, the first 5 graduates of the BEAM program went to Bangkok to take the GED examination in all five subjects (Reading ,Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies).

On April 26th, our Tailoring business united with the GotPassport and We Women to sell our products at the Lanna School Fund Fair. In total, we sold out more than 4000 baht of goods and received several orders for custom products.

On April 28th, we held the graduation ceremony for 4th Tailoring Section at the BEAM CC. Certificates of completion were given to 9 out of 20 trainees. During the six-month course, students participated in a one-day workshop for natural dyeing and a ten-day training on knitting techniques, providing a variety of new skills to our tailoring trainees.

The BEAM F.C played friendly match against Grace Church Chiang Mai on 13 May 2012 (Sunday). The goals by BEAM F.C’s players, K’ Sor Wah, Gobin and Ko Phyo earned a comfortable 6-3 win over Grace Church Chiang Mai. Many BEAM’s students came and support their team.
