On 13th December 2013, BEAM Education Foundation went on an excursion trip to Payap University in Chiang Mai. All together, there were 50 participants from the first and second year bridging program, as well as alumni from past programs and some teachers. Mark Richard, a representative of Payap International College, gave a short presentation about Payap University’s history, current programs and requirements for the entrance and student exchange programs. After that we visited Payap’s Library, multimedia rooms and learned how to find books, the borrowing system and the Library’s rules and regulations. Then we toured International Housing, and Dormitory. After that Payap’s International College served a buffet lunch and the excursion trip ended at 12:30 noon. This field trip gave students a great opportunity to learn about university life/atmosphere including the buildings, programs, rules and regulations, and exposure and encouragement to study at international level universities in other countries.
