On 23rd July 2015, CDCE batch 16 students visit to BEAM School and conduct workshop with BEAM students. The Community Development and Civic Empowerment Program (CDCE), a three month training program hosts participants from Myanmar twice a year. The CDCE students represent workers and volunteers from various local and interntiaonal NGOs and community based organizations who are working in their country for community development. BEAM students were able to have the opportunity to get to know the CDCE Program and its dedicated services as well as gain an understanding and knowledge on cummunity development and civic empowerment, current Myanmar transition, process of social transformation in Myanmar through civil society development.
