From 1st to 3rdApril, 2015, BEAM participated in the “Lanna Education and Cultural Awareness Day.” Collaborating with the Thai Non-Formal Education Department and private schools.

BEAM Education Foundation, collaborating with the Thai Non-Formal Education Department, launched the first 200 hours Thai language training. The course was provided for five months, from 1st March to 30 July 2014. Registered through the Thailand Department of Education, forty students were able to take the official basic Thai language curriculum of writing, reading, and listening.

On 12th January 2015, BEAM started the first basic crochet training of 2015, taught by Sayama Pan San, the trainer. Ten students of different ethnic groups such as Shan, Kachin, Karen, Mon, Rakhine, and Lahu are currently attending the training course every Monday,
