Completion of the First Thai Language Training

BEAM Education Foundation, collaborating with the Thai Non-Formal Education Department, launched the first 200 hours Thai language training. The course was provided for five months, from 1st March to 30 July 2014. Registered through the Thailand Department of Education, forty students were able to take the official basic Thai language curriculum of writing, reading, and listening.

BEAM Education Foundation, collaborating with the Thai Non-Formal Education Department, launched the first 200 hours Thai language training. The course was provided for five months, from 1st March to 30 July 2014. Registered through the Thailand Department of Education, forty students were able to take the official basic Thai language curriculum of writing, reading, and listening. The Thai Non-Formal Education Department provided the stationery, textbooks, and grants for teachers. BEAM Education Foundation provided the classroom, training materials, trainers, and student recruitment support. The Thai Non-Formal Education Department and BEAM Education Foundation held the entrance exam and all 40 students passed the test successfully. After the training, graduated students were awarded the official certificates from the Thai Department of Education for completing the 200 hours Thai language training. This recognition for the Thai language training from the Thai Non-Formal Education Department was a huge success for the BEAM Education Foundation. BEAM is now in the negotiation process with Thai Non-Formal Education Department to gain accreditation also for the Tailoring and ICT Computer trainings.
