Lawnt Ying is originally from northern Shan State, Myanmar and is one of BEAM’s GED graduates. She successfully passed the GED exam in 2012.
On 11th& 17th May 2018, three BEAM alumni Ah Wang, Seng Harn, and Nang Sein Pwint graduated from their respective universities.
BEAM’s Bridging Programs for Higher Education Opening (2016-2017)
BEAM Education Foundation is now opening the student recruitment for its two bridging programs for higher education: Integration Program and the GED Program for 2016-2017 academic year.
Spend an evening exploring the culture of Myanmar over a Five Course Meal, with each course coming from a different Burmese district. In addition to the meal, there will be; (1) Live cultural performances, (2) Hand-made gifts, (3) Raffle prizes donated from across Chiang Mai.
On 5-6 Nov, 2016, BEAM/JUMP! Youth Conference: Rising Lanterns of Chiang Mai was successfully held at Funruk Resort in Chiang Mai, Thailand in collaboration between BEAM Education Foundation and JUMP! Foundation. It was a two-day weekend conference with 87 youths including: Myanmar youth, Thai youth and Thai ethnic youth participants living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
